Crossings
Venus–Pluto crossing
Desire that holds on. Where a Venus line crosses a Pluto line on your map, both planets were on angles at the moment you were born, and the latitude through that point is a Venus–Pluto paran.

What the Venus–Pluto crossing means
Pluto takes Venus out of the shallow end. Where these two cross, the textbook reading is attraction that's hard to walk away from, loyalty that runs deep and jealousy that can run just as deep, with money tangled up in other people's: shared accounts, investors, inheritances, settlements.
Nothing about it is casual, and that is why some people go looking for it. A relationship that changes you, art that goes into dark material, a career in finance or psychology with real stakes all fit the pairing.
Pluto on the Descendant crossing Venus on the MC is the one for powerful partners and patrons, people with money or influence who take an interest in your work and expect something back. Venus setting across Pluto on the IC puts the intensity at home, where old family patterns tend to walk into the relationship. With Pluto rising across Venus on the MC or IC, most of the change is in you: what you want, what you'll put up with, what you'll pay for.
Control is the thing to watch, in both directions. Read Venus in your natal chart and any aspect it makes to Pluto: a square or opposition is read as possessive love that this crossing brings out, and that's far easier to spot on a visit than after signing a lease together.
Where they meet on your map
Your Venus MC and IC lines run from pole to pole, and so do your Pluto ones, so those four never meet. Each of them crosses the other planet's rising and setting curve once, which makes up to four crossings of a meridian line with a horizon line, and the rising and setting curves of the two can cross each other as well. Where they fall depends on the moment you were born: every chart has them, though some land in the middle of an ocean or too near a pole to be drawn.
At a crossing both planets were on angles in the same place at the same moment. Move east or west along that latitude and the same two still reach their angles together, only at another time of day, so astrocartography reads the whole latitude as a Venus–Pluto paran. Zenith Map draws it as a band 1° (about 110 km) either side, and its weight in a place's score fades with distance from the latitude.
Birth time
A wrong birth time moves every line, and the crossings with them: an hour's error puts each crossing 15° of longitude east or west, more than 1,600 km at the equator. The paran latitude hardly moves, because it depends on where the two planets were in the sky rather than on the time of day; in the engine's test charts an hour shifts it by about a tenth of a degree or less nine times out of ten. With an uncertain birth time, trust the paran before the crossing. What a doubtful birth time does to a map.
Questions
Is the Venus–Pluto crossing dangerous for relationships?
No crossing is dangerous. This one is read as intense: deep attraction and strong loyalty, with jealousy or power struggles where they're already in the natal chart. It suits people who want depth and can talk about control openly, and it wears on anyone who wants love to stay light.
Is a Venus–Pluto paran good for money?
For money that comes through other people, it can be: investors, shared resources, inheritances, finance work, deals with real stakes. It's also where money and relationships get entangled, so keep accounts and agreements clear, especially with partners.
