Who is responsible

Fractal Technologies - FZCO, Unit 34972-001, IFZA Business Park, Building A1, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, runs Zenith Map and is responsible for the personal data it handles. Write to contact@fractalte.ch about anything on this page.

Without an account

The chart is calculated in your browser. The birth details you enter, the places you rate and your settings are kept in your browser's local storage on your device and are not sent to us. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. If you choose to share your ratings of places you have lived, only the lens, a rounded score and the rating are sent, with nothing that identifies you or the place.

The map tiles are loaded from OpenFreeMap, which receives your IP address and the parts of the map you view, as any map server does.

We count how the site is used without identifying you: page views through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, and a few events (a lens chosen, a place clicked, with distances and scores rounded into buckets) sent to our own server and grouped by a random id that is forgotten when the tab closes. Your browser's Do Not Track setting turns all of this off.

If you describe what you are deciding to get a personal lens, that sentence and the answers you choose are sent to a language model on Cloudflare to suggest weights, then dropped; it carries no birth details and is not stored or logged.

With an account

  • Your email address, to send sign-in links and the link to a finished report, and a session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. This cookie is needed for the account to work.
  • The charts you save: names you give them, birth dates, times and places, partner charts, places you have lived and rated, and your settings, so they follow you between devices.
  • Your plan and purchases: whether you have Pro, until when, and which reports you have paid for and written.
  • Relocation Reports: the report text and the figures it was written from. To write it, the places you chose, the lines, parans and relocated signs near them, their scores, how exact your birth time is and your stated decision are sent to Anthropic's Claude model, through Cloudflare; the chart's name, your birth date, time and birth place are not.
  • Security records: the IP address of each request, used to limit repeated sign-in attempts, and short-lived server logs kept for a few days to find errors.

We use this data only to provide the service you asked for (the contract between us), to keep it secure and to meet tax and accounting duties. We do not sell it, use it for advertising or share it with anyone except the providers below.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us; we receive your name, email, country, what you bought and whether the payment went through. Stripe processes payment data under its own privacy policy.

Who processes data for us

  • Cloudflare: hosting, the database, email delivery, analytics and the decision model.
  • Stripe: payments, subscriptions, invoices and tax.
  • Anthropic: writing Relocation Reports, from the figures described above.
  • OpenFreeMap: the map tiles.

These providers run servers in several countries, including the United States, and handle the data under their data-processing terms with us, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses where those apply.

How long we keep it

Account data stays until you delete it. Deleting your account from the account page cancels any subscription and removes your email, charts, places, ratings and reports at once. We keep records of payments for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and Stripe keeps its own records as its policy describes.

Your rights

You can download everything your account holds and delete the account yourself from the account page. You can also ask us to correct, restrict or explain how we use your data, or object to a use; write to contact@fractalte.ch and we answer within a month. If you live in the EU or the UK you may also complain to your data-protection authority. The service is not meant for anyone under 16.
